There are a few reasons why you would want to trim trees yourself. If you have a small tree where you can reach the branched safely, with two feet on the ground, with a pole saw then DIY tree trimming is a good option. Be aware the tree trimming does require a lot of effort and can be extremely dangerous. We would also recommend using safety glasses to protect your eyes and and leather gloves to protect your hands. We do not recommend electric or gas powered tree trimming pruners for the novice. These can be particularly dangerous to yourself and others. Having a chainsaw, attached to a pole above your head is not a terrific idea.
