Naperville Tree Care
Tree Removal Cost
What Is Usually Included in the Cost EstimationIn reference to the aforementioned tree removal price; the complete tree removal cost usually includes cutting the tree down to ground level, cutting the tree limbs and tree trunk into manageable pieces for removal, removing tree trunks and limbs off site if manageable the same day and chipping and mulching the branches on site with a chipper. Larger and unmanageable tree trunk pieces may need to be handled by special equipment and hauled away by heavy equipment. Special considerations that may increase the tree removal costs may include:
Branch Hauling and Branch ChippingMany companies may have additional charges for branch chipping and or branch removal. If you consider another or large corporate competitor (Steve Piper & Sons, Inc., Davey Tree, Schusters Stump Removal, Tree Concepts) then ask exactly what is included in the initial quote so you won’t be surprised when you get the final bill. At Naperville Tree Care we are always upfront with pricing so you know exactly what you are being charged. We offer total transparency.
Stump GrindingNot all but most clients like the stump removed after the tree is cut down. The stump is removed by a method referred to as stump grinding. Cost for stump grinding vary and depend on how large the stump is. A small stump may only cost approximately $80 dollars where as an extra large stump may cost as much as $295 dollars. Additional information for stump grinding can be found here.
Trunk Wood HaulingNaperville Tree Care includes this in the price unless there are special considerations such an extra-large tree removal. We are fully transparent with our tree removal costs. Other companies may charge and additional $350 dollars for hauling away trunk wood.
On-Site Wood SplittingOn-site wood splitting is an option that some customers may consider. Many companies will do this. Typical wood splitting cost range from $100 to $200 dollars depending on the man-hours to complete the job.
